“They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” - Tom Bodett

The Culture

FC Dallas’ goal is simple… prepare the kids for their next step or team.

While winning today is fun and trying to win is important, the priority is not about winning today.

It’s about winning tomorrow, and the process that leads to that eventual winning. Winning comes as a byproduct of doing the right things with an eye toward the long-term future.

Teaching Philosophy (Something to do)

The main tenant FCD hangs its hat on is its focus on education. They believe in teaching the players, parents, and coaches on and off the field.

“Our culture and our values in the locker room and on the field, it’s a development culture,” Luchi says. “It’s about learning. I want our players to be students. My staff, we have to show them that we are willing to learn, that we’re open. We’re students, too.”
